NOISES OFF Cast Spotlight: Courtney Murphy

COURTNEY MURPHY (BROOKE ASHTON/VICKI) is thrilled to be back on stage at Bigger Dreams

Productions after being last seen with the company in their 2023 production of August Osage County (Karen).

Recent performance credits include: Gruesome Playground Injuries (Kayleen), Hamlet (Guildenstern), Green

Day’s  American Idiot (St. Jimmy), The 2025 NEXT! Staged Reading Series: Shares (Alex), and The 25th

Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Schwarzy). Recent production credits include,  Gruesome Playground

Injuries (Co-Producer / Director),  Hamlet (Costumer),  Junie B. Jones Jr. The Musical (Assistant

Director/Costumer), Green Day’s American Idiot (Costumer),  Matilda Jr (Director),  Anastasia The Musical:

Youth Edition  (Director), and  Five Women Wearing the Same Dress (Director). Professionally, Courtney works

for the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Office of Youth Justice as the Statewide Race Equity Coordinator. In

this role she also oversees multiple state funded violence prevention initiatives and sits on the Governor’s

LGBTQ+ Interagency Task Force. When she isn’t working or rehearsing she enjoys spending an evening

watching movies with her little black cat, Deacon. She would like to thank her mom for always supporting her.
