WAIT UNTIL DARK Cast Spotlight: Nick Kocieniewski and Casey Thomas

Nick Kocieniewski (Mike) is excited to be working with Bigger Dreams to bring the character of Mike to life! His previous roles include Tri-Town Theatre's Wizard of Oz (Professor Marvel/The Wizard); Bigger Dreams Productions’ Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Nick); Catskills Community Players’ Murder on the Orient Express (Colonel Arbuthnot); and Tri-Town Theatre’s The Music Man (Charlie Cowell/Constable Locke). Much love to his husband, Alex, their two dogs, Jeffrey and Twyla, the amazing cast and crew of Wait Until Dark, and everyone who came out to support the show!

Casey Thomas (Carlino) has been performing on stage for many years. Credits include Elliot Nash in The Gazebo, Col. Kenneth Penmark in Bad Seed, Benny in Rent, Buck Titus and Lee Sarason in It Can’t Happen Here, Clifford Anderson in Deathtrap, Steve in August: Osage County, The Hermit in Young Frankenstein, Jim O’Connor in The Glass Menagerie, Sir Bedevere in Spamalot, Dale Harding in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Rudolpho in Matilda: The Musical, Bill in Mamma Mia, Smokey in Damn Yankees, Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol: The Musical, Capt. Philip Lombard in And Then There Were None, Joe Pitt in Angels in America, Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks in Annie: The Musical, Matt in The Fantasticks, Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, Dr. Madden/Dr. Fine in Next to Normal, Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods, Berger in Hair, Lord Farquaad in Shrek: The Musical, Skimbleshanks in Cats, Brad in The Rocky Horror Show, and Warner in Legally Blonde. Locally, Casey has appeared with Orpheus Theatre, Bigger Dreams Productions, Bigger Boat Productions, Stuff of Dreams Productions, Tri-Town Theatre, Catskill Community Players, Bold Theatrics, and Glimmerglass Opera. He was also a member of The Colgate Thirteen, one of the oldest and renowned collegiate a cappella groups in the country, and currently sings with Eight is Eneuf (aka Enough Already!), a local a cappella group. Casey lives in Oneonta.
