CAST

Marisa Chism

Actress, Director, Writer, Cat Owner, Fiancée, Licensed Massage Therapist, Daughter, Mother, Vagina Owner and Operator. Always dreaming of bigger and better things for herself and others is now happy to say that she is excited for her first Bigger Dreams production to be in such a powerful piece that speaks to female experiences a lot of us share.

(she/her)

Jennifer Dibble

Jennifer is both excited and terrified to be switching up her backstage black clothes to onstage black clothes. She is a member of the Bigger Dreams Board of Directors and has had the pleasure of stage managing their productions of The Diary of Anne Frank and Misery. She has also worked on The Haunting of Hill House, Comedy of Tenors, and August: Osage County. While not in the theatre she works in the mental health field, volunteers her time to numerous community organizations and enjoys some great times with her two teenage sons.

(she/her)

Diana Foster

Born and raised on Staten Island (where they also say twat), she last appeared in IS 61’s production of The Music Man in 1992. Her social anxiety couldn’t keep her from being a part of this wonderful and important production. Diana is a breastfeeding peer counselor and full spectrum doula whose hobbies include making butch lesbians moan, wearing overalls and petting her 13 cats. She is a member of Otsego Pride Alliance, and fiercely protective of queer and trans youth.

Kaleigh Herman

Kaleigh is a higher education professional from Cooperstown, NY. Upon completion of her master’s degree in international relations, she spent nearly four years traveling around Asia, Australia, and South America—working various jobs from remote educational consulting to picking cherries! Kaleigh is happiest outside and has a love for flowers, especially after working on a local flower farm. She loves hiking, swimming, coffee, and good food. This is her first time on stage.

They would like to thank Brooke for directing this production with the utmost care and consideration, and the cast for being incredible people to work with. These stories are vitally important and it has been an honor to bring them to life.

Kasia Miller-Kanai

Kasia first found a knack for speaking and performance as the middle child in a big family. They have lost their voice more than once singing La Vie Bohème on repeat in the car. For the last 5 years Kasia has provided age appropriate, medically accurate comprehensive sexual health and relationship education throughout Otsego and Delaware counties as a community educator for Family Planning of South Central New York. Their current fixations include Legos, chickens and convincing their wife that life would be better with a couple sheep.

(they/them)

Courtney Murphy

Courtney previously appeared with Bigger Dreams in August: Osage County (Karen Weston), Much Ado About Nothing (Don John), The Haunting of Hill House (Theodora), Don’t Drink the Water (Susan), and could be found backstage assisting with several productions including The Diary of Anne Frank, A Comedy of Tenors, Never Too Late, and On Golden Pond. By day Courtney is a Criminal Justice Program Specialist with the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services Office of Youth Justice working to expand the NYS Sexual Orientation Gender Identity and Expression initiative and by night she is a barcade attendant (glorified quarter machine) at a tropical speakeasy, axe throwing coach, and trivia host.
